Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga is a rigorous style of yoga that follows a specific sequence of postures and is similar to vinyasa yoga, as each style links every movement to a breath. Vinyasa Sun Salutations will be in this class. Ashtanga always performs the exact same poses in the exact same order. Ashtanga focuses on breath, gaze, bandhas, and postures. Each pose will be held for 5 breaths. This class if taught beginner - advanced. Please remind the teacher if you are a beginner as modifications will be given.

 

Props: exercise mat, yoga block, strap (All props are optional. You can use a carpet or towel in place of a mat, a pillow or bolster for a block, and a towel for a strap.)

Hatha Yoga

Relax, unwind, and destress with virtual community for an hour class of Hatha Yoga. Work through a warm up to calm the mind and prepare for practice. Give the physical body what it needs, working through the neck, spin, and deep hip openers as I take you through postures to stretch and create body awareness. Cool down in the present moment and take all the time you need as you rest into your meditative state right in the comfort of your home.

Vinyasa Yoga

A vinyasa flow sequence connects breath and movement to music. Expect to do vinyasa and Sun Salutations while working from side to side. This practice creates heat in the body and can be taught at a faster pace than other styles. Classes are always different and a variety of postures are used to help you build strength, flexibility, and balance.

Barre Unhitched - SoulBody

SoulBody Barre is a pre-choreographed total-body workout with ballet inspired movement, cardio surges, yoga poses in stretches, and moves derived from pilates. Workout to upbeat, great tones! Target all muscle groups in plank/push-up tracks, shoulder/bicep/tricep tracks, core tracks, thigh & glute tracks. This class is for everyone with modifications to assist all.

Props: In this class we use 6-9lbs weighted bars and  light balls. These props are provided for you. Please bring your mat if you have one, if not, we have some to spare and also to buy.

Yoga Sculpt - SoulBody

Get ready for SoulBody ZenBurn Yoga combining yoga flow, weight training, and cardio all to pre choreographed top hit music. This mindfully intense workout is made to sculpt the body in a new way. Feel through muscles you didn't know existed with innovative moves to get you to your goals. 

 

Props: exercise mat, X2 1-5 lbs hand weights (All props are optional. You can use a carpet or towel in place of a mat, food cans or water bottles as weights.)
